Apart, Henrik Schwarz and Jesse Rose are two of the finest auteurs of the past half-decade in house and techno. Rose was one of the pioneers of fidget house in the mid-’00s – a style that continues to be felt on the top of the charts even now – but it’s his ability to seamlessly blend everything from electro to rap to Afropop that’s characterized his music, not to mention a no-nonsense banging bassline (or several), that places it firmly at the center of the dance floor.
